We started working with Virginia "Ginnie" Stoker in the heat of the crazy Real Estate Market, 2021 - 2022, along with many other agents who touted for business. We immediately found her to be very personable, knowledgeable, especially of the Casey and Canberra market and a settling influence in a mad period of Real Estate history in Australia and especially Canberra. We looked at taking advantage of the super strong market and selling, while there was no doubt we would very easily obtain a good price for our rather unique property, we couldn't find a property of equal quality to down-size to. One of the problems of trying to buy and sell in the same market is well known and recorded, but not often well handled by Real Estate Agents. Ginnie was different and while she showed us plenty of potential properties, she never encouraged us to go where she knew we wouldn't be happy, in short, she 'got us'. We backed out of the market and it was only through change of circumstances, that we came back to it. Ginnie had remained in contact with us, just checking in every now and again, never applying any pressure. When we knew we were ready to go, we contacted her and she put the wheels, very seamlessly, in motion. We had found a property to downsize to so ran a short, sharp program, over a few weeks, with the property selling prior to auction at a price point we were very happy with. Once again, throughout the process and while dealing with personal family issues, Ginnie remained professional, calm, effective and diligent in ensuring that everything ran smoothly. Achieving us a very desirable result in a quick turnaround. We often mentioned between ourselves that Ginnie must have the 'Patience of a Saint' to put up with our 'on again', 'off again' situation.
