Pretty poor experience overall

We engaged OKAS real estate to sell our house and we initially kept getting mixed messages about what needed to Be done to the house I.e painting cleaning etc We decided to go to Auction with it hoping to achieve our target price as the agent had indicated that their was a lot of interest in the property and we had good numbers for the inspections Come auction day the turn out was a Bit low and as we wanted to sell prior to the holidays we didn’t achieve close to our target price 2 weeks later a house about the same size 200 meters down the road achieved a much better turn out and result at the auction from another agent In a nutshell agent makes a difference. If I had my time again I wouldn’t engage OKAS.

Thank you for your feedback. Throughout the campaign, our team consistently recommended painting, repairing the defects and staging the property to present it at its absolute best. These steps are proven to increase buyer interest, competition and ultimately the sale price. Unfortunately, these improvements were not carried out, and this limited the impact of the campaign. As you may be aware, the property that sold only 200m away invested in cosmetic work and presentation before going to market. Those upgrades, combined with staging, created strong buyer demand and a premium result. This is a clear example of how presentation can make a big difference in today’s competitive market. Our role is always to give honest advice based on experience and current market conditions. We act in the best interests of our vendors and always aim to achieve the highest possible price.
