I decided to sell my property in Melbourne after moving to Qld. I needed to find an agent who could sell my property off the market with no interruptions to my tenant. I chose William out of may agents in the South Yarra area, William found a couple of qualified buyers before taking them through the property. He arranged the inspection with the tenant and buyers. One week later William had the offer in writing on contract of sale for me to consider, no games. I have recommended William to friends who are thinking of selling, with the confidence they can trust his work and know he will get the result they are looking for.
William was clearly very knowledgeable in the area and also the market. He was a good communicator and clearly a strong negotiator as we are happy with our sales result.
I actually bought from William last year and was so impressed I thought I'd ask him to sell my property. The news is full of doom and gloom and I was very anxious about the sale and about getting a good return for my original investment a decade ago. Although I was quite annoying, panic-y and questioning of all costs, William was really nice and reassuring while also being quite upfront and clear about market circumstances and the value of the things I was paying for before the sale (painting, furniture hire, breadth of advertising etc). I was a pain in the backside but he was really good (he will make a great dad!). I held my breath at the auction and was absolutely thrilled to get well above the advertised price, and way above my reserve. I cannot recommend William highly enough. I'd also like to congratulate all the team at South Yarra Hocking Stuart as I have used them now to sell, buy, rent out and rent in... in all aspects they have been terrific. Very fair, reasonable and pleasant to work with. Great people.
