I got a real taste of the real estate market in my early 20s buying my 1st property in Singapore. The real estate market unlike in Australia requires you to be self reliant on your own market research and laws. Property market is a lot more competitive in Australia and your relationship with the agent is paramount to your success and their reputation. We have over the last few decades bought and sold number of properties in Australia both residential and investment. Common denominator behind the success and lack thereof has been the ‘agent’.
