We engaged Youseff Chmait to sell our home in Marrickville during Oct/Nov 2017. I first met Youseff after he called me one afternoon in response to my enquiry about another property and we got talking about life, the universe and my home. At the time I was already in the process of interviewing other agents but his good humour and warm candour motivated me to invite him to pitch for our business. After much consideration (and as the improbable underdog) we decided to employ Youseff above other reputable agents to sell our home. This gave us the assurance that Youseff possessed the talent and aptitude to sell our home at auction, for and beyond the price he forecast. During the campaign Youseff was up-beat, energised and always optimistic. He did a wonderful job initiating and cultivating relations with potential buyers and possible leads. He is wonderfully tenacious without being disingenuous. Youseff is perceptive about the market and excellent at analysing the outcomes from each weekly inspection, metering our expectations throughout the campaign to auction. As a result the outcome was as Youseff had forecast and we got a great result in a less than favourable market.
