Yvonne was a Shire Councillor for Pine Rivers Shire Council for 11 years (1997-2008), and was a member of the Strategic and Planning Committee for the Shire as well as Chairman of the Finance/Audit Committee. Yvonne has been a proud long term resident of the area and her enthusiasm and community pride is obvious when talking with people. Yvonne has listed and sold numerous properties working with LJHooker and is now half owner of the franchise.
When Yvonne was a Councillor she was also National President of the Australian Local Government Womens Association representing Australia in Indonesia as part of the decentralisation. This role brought her in close contact with all the 3 levels of Government, forging friendships that have remained to this day.
