I would rate Jay Mitter 3 out of 5 stars. The property was sold, but the final price was below my expectations and I did not feel strong negotiation was done on my behalf. I was also repeatedly asked to fix minor issues in the property, and even after addressing those, the overall outcome did not improve. Towards the end of the process, $2,000 was held in the trust account, which added to my concern that the focus was more on accommodating the buyer rather than representing my interests, despite paying full commission. Communication was acceptable, but overall I expected stronger advocacy and better support as a seller.

When I was referred to Peter as a representative to sell our property, Peter immediately reached out to me first by email and a WA call. He was a great listener and provided sound advice on the marketing strategy based on his years of experience. Our property was sold within the first weekend Peter advertised and due credit should be given to Peter for his dedication and commitment to his profession. He followed up with a prospective buyer who expressed keen interest and offered a second viewing of our property even though it was a Sunday. Not only did he manage to get the buyer to commit to the deal by placing a deposit, he also managed to push up the sale price further - it was a real sweetener. We are immensely grateful to Peter to have sold our property and will absolutely recommend him without a doubt as your sales representative for your property.

I was a bit cautious at the start, as it can be hard to work out which real estate agent to go with when you have interviewed a few. In this case, I did speak with a couple of agents before deciding to go with Alex, and I am very glad I did. He turned out to be a straight shooter who delivered on everything he said he would. He was very knowledgeable, particularly around Brunswick East, where my apartment was located. He kept me informed throughout the process, always followed up with interested buyers, and communicated clearly at every step. I would highly recommend Alex.
