Blake did a very good job as the selling agent of my property. He demonstrated a deep knowledge of property prices in Stanmore, and surrounding areas, which gave me confidence in his estimate of the range of my likely sale price (acknowledging that I was selling in a rising market). He prepared a detailed and comprehensive timeline of the sale process, including: preparing the property for sale (painting, sanding, repairs, cleaning, styling); marketing; advertising; showings and openings; and the auction itself. He had tradesmen readily on hand to do any required work on the property. His marketing of the property was of a high standard. After each showing he prepared a detailed report, e-mailed to me, on the attendees at the showing, in particular summarising his view of the degree of interest of each prospective purchaser in the property and the amount of money each prospective purchaser was likely to be prepared to pay as the purchase price. He outlined what attendees were saying about the property: weak points and strong points. He phoned me after each showing and discussed his impressions of how things were progressing, focusing on the interest of the strong candidates. He was invariably sensible and astute in his comments and advice. He presented well at all times, with a confident and well-mannered demeanour.
