It was because of a previous successful collaboration with Monica McLaren over selling a house in Witta, that I again asked her to represent me in selling a rental property in Highgate Hill, Brisbane. Brisbane and her Brisbane-based colleague, Lara, provided me with valuable advice on renovations and improvements which would optimise the presentation of the property. Monica’s thorough research of comparable properties resulted in our agreeing on a realistic expectation for a sale price. Despite delays beyond our control, the property went on the market at not quite the best time, but the marketing strategy designed by Monica, and the open houses supervised by Monica and Lara, resulted in a n excellent offer being received and accepted within about eight days.
