From the first meeting the team makes you feel really comfortable, gauging how much you already know and then filling in the blanks to ensure you across everything. It took us over a year to finally find a house and the team checked in regularly and kept us up to date on interest rates. Nathan from Birdie excelled at listening to our needs and preparing an application that was realistic for us and enabled a busy family to avoid a double-move. Our application for pre-approval went to the bank before Christmas then our offer on a home occurred just before Easter, both of which set us challenges to receive answers from the bank. Nathan ensured our application stayed on-track and his recommendations to us have set us up with an affordable mortgage.

Nathan was amazing at finding us banks that would loan to us given our circumstances (partner is not Australian permanent resident/citizen, <20% deposit) and Emma was amazing at explaining all the processes to us. Could have better communication when other staff members became involved in the various stages of buying the property.
