We had contacted Joel through a recommendation after our previous broker dropped the ball and let us down - which meant we missed out on buying our first home… Joel guided us and kept us well informed throughout the whole process - from 2020 (I think) right up to approval 2023! Our situation changed so much over the time he was looking after us. He helped me plan my back to work hours form maternity leave in hopes to reach our home loan goal. My partner during this time also became self employed with not enough history for major banks which could have been very stressful without Joel being so informative and flexible. In the end Joel secured a home loan for us through a major lender, one that best suited our situation with some extra bonus’s! Our application involved a lot more work than other clients would have but he was always up for the challenge and he was committed to us and our aspirations. Joel has been nothing but patient and gave us time that many other brokers wouldn’t have (I ask a lot of questions!) he never put us in the “too hard” basket that others would have. We were in contact with Joel for years he was always responsive, and consistent with his approach. Joel is transparent, honest, trustworthy and very professional. After meeting with other brokers a stand out is also his attention to detail. He remembers the details which we know can mean everything for your application.
