Nathan organised our reno finance and our refinance after renovation.We We started our renovation with one budget then the construction industry exploded so we needed more. Nathan found solutions for us both times with money in the bank within 24-36 hours. We couldn't believe the process was so seamless. Finally we were done and it was time to revalue, consolidate and refinance. Again the team went to work and from lodgement to approval it was about 2 days and another FAST seamless, successful process with settlement before Christmas. I was a first home buyer. I knew nothing. I went into this situation clearly stating that. I was referred to Nathan from a friend who has a positive experience buying his house. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Nathan rounded numbers up when informing me how much I needed to borrow, making assumptions about my lifestyle. His communication was very poor. He came across as rude and condescending at times. He was not proactive in helping me with the paperwork. His job was to liaise with the bank and organise the finance. We had some issues here and I was the one to do all the back and forth and follow up with the bank to action things. He filled out one form at my request and made several significant errors on it which would have made me ineligible for that funding if I hadn't checked the form myself. The form was one example of a tick and flick exercise on his behalf demonstrating his lack of attention to detail and effort in the process. His condescending responses to questions were unnecessary and unprofessional. Although we were successful in purchasing this house together, I can't help but think it would have been a lot less stressful if he was not involved. His nonchalant attitude toward money by assuming I would borrow more to 'furnish my house' was shocking, confusing and offensive, given he is a finance professional being paid to advise me in best practice. I found the whole finance situation overwhelming and his attitude off-putting. Once the initial paperwork is done, you get palmed off to his 'assistants' anyway, so he's getting paid from your work and his customer service declines further because now you have to go through two people for every query/request etc. Buying a house is stressful enough on its own. Thankfully, I had a great settlement agent, property inspector and family around me. I would not recommend Nathan's services. I gave him two stars because we did get the finance for the house. I'd say go elsewhere.
