In the early 1900's, the northern rivers was developing a reputation for it's extraordinary dairy industry. The homes that were being built at the time, in the Federation style, became the iconic Australian farmhouse. This has long been one of my favourites, and truly one of the loveliest examples, in our region. It's a local landmark, the original farmhouse of the previous dairy farm and an absolute delight to make a home.

Autumnal light currently drenches the homestead. The days are sunny but cooler and it's perfect for preparing veggie gardens for the spring crops. In winter there's the warming wood-fired stove in the kitchen. Summertime enjoy afternoon breezes, sunset drinks and cooling dip in the pool.
