She helped us understand the leasing process from start to finish and secured tenants within days of the first inspection. We were pleased with the rental price and Biggin Scott's fees seem to be reasonably comparable with other agents in the area. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Biggin Scott and Steph in particular.

The positives: - They did a good job finding a tenant - Alanna (their business department manager) was very professional and explained the processes I would have to go through very clearly when signing me on board. The negatives: - Once I signed a contract with them the positive experiences ended abruptly. - They scarcely did anything proactively. I had to constantly check in to get them to follow through with inspections and trade jobs. - Their head of trade and maintenance management is a poor communicator who miscommunicated dates, ordered quotes for the wrong things and caused me frustration and financial loss. The final straw for me was when I discovered that they never followed through on electrical safety and compliance works I had requested be done 4 months earlier (thankfully nothing bad ever happened to the tenant and there was still a few months left before we became non-compliant). When I questioned them they blamed it on the tenant not being available. Not sure why the tenant needed to be available when Biggin Scott had a key... Just admit you forgot to follow up and do what you can to rectify the mistake. In a nutshell don't go with these guys. At the end of my time with them I honestly couldn't articulate what value I had gained from the relationship.
