The initial period before renting was very hectic. Lots and lots of emails exchanged but communication was haphazard. The board came onto the property once the house had already been rented! The agent who conducted the inspection on the day seemed to know little about the house. The price established for the rent was determined by myself . The agent had suggested a much lower price ( $200 less) but my estimate proved the realistic one. On the upside: the house was rented out immediately with an almost immediate start date. Perhaps we were caught up in the initial rush of the new year. Things now seem to have settled down and the occasional phone call has been much appreciated .
