On inspection of the property i noticed it was extremely dirty,i mentioned it to the agent to be told it would be bond cleaned and spotless by the time we moved it if successful. We were successful and moved in 3 weeks later,i was shocked to see the place filthy. It's been three weeks and we are still not unpacked as iv'e had to clean the place and still no where near finished.The house stunk the agent told us it was bond cleaned before we moved it,but our before and after photos show differently. I rang the agent and was disgusted at their response,the receptionist said to me there is all types of cleanliness,then told me it was booked in for a bond clean the following Friday,meanwhile the house was empty for 3 weeks before we moved in,then said that was the house next door and this place had had a bond clean which made it even worse, She then told me to send an email of what was not clean and they would send the bond cleaner back,we all work full time and have two small children,the place is taking weeks to clean i cut my days at work to 3 days to try and finish the cleaning which is still not done,if there bond cleaner left the place in this state i didn't want her back. It's very clear to me there was never a bond clean,the carpets were filthy and i didn't believe for one minute they were cleaned,the receptionist told me the owners had arranged to have them cleaned,in fact that was not the truth it was a made up story by her. The carpet cleaner rang me the same day i complained he was such a lovely man he told me they did clean the carpets before we moved in he said they were so filthy it was the best they could do at the time. He came back and did them again but only around the beds as we had already moved in it was a little better but not what they should be. So after all that my trust went out the door with the receptionist lying to me,instead of apology. We have taken before and after photos of everything to make sure we will not be held responsible.
