As a Sydney local I have been on the journey with purchasing my first home in Wollongong for about a year now. I have dealt with many agents, none have made me feel so immediately at ease and comfortable as Adele and his wife. Upon arriving to the property that would become my first home I was greeted with genuine enthusiasm. Adele and his wife were quick to point out the properties potential and were upfront and honest about its flaws. Before inspecting the inside Adele gently asked for my partner and I to remove our shoes in accordance to the customs of the culture of the current tenants. His respect for the tenants spoke volumes. Adele went on to show me the ground level unit of the property which the previous tenant had left in disarray. Adele went as far as moving a flipped over dining table out of the premise, unblocking the entry to the kitchen so that I could inspect it (above and beyond). Adele pounded his fists on the double brick walls and brought my attention to the timber floors and updated bathroom. He really made me see the potential of the property in spite of its current condition. Upon completing my inspection Adele arranged access for a building inspection the very next day. Adele then served as a very efficient intermediary between myself and the vendor striking a fair deal. Behind the scenes Adele had arranged emergency accommodation for the down on his luck, tenant downstairs. He went onto finding this man a job and liaised with the current property management allowing access for the man the retrieve his remaining belongings. Cannot recommend Adele highly enough. Selling a house is a stressful experience even in the best of times. Adele made the experience a wonderful one. Having dealt with other agents I can tell you his superior property knowledge and his ability to explain the ongoings of the procedure was beyond anything I have dealt with in the industry.
