Buying a house, whether it’s your first, second or fifth, is always a big decision and particularly so when you’re doing it on your own like me. From the moment I saw the property I knew it was exactly what I had been hoping and searching for, and I was very keen to make the right offer – for both me and the seller. The entire process was made so much easier by Tammy because of her honest and open answers to all of my questions; and nothing was ever too big or too small for her to take the time to respond to. Obviously I knew Tammy was ultimately working for the seller but I never felt as though I was being pressured or mislead in any way just so she could ‘get the sale’. I knew immediately, because of the quality presentation, and uniqueness of this property, that time was of the essence and offers would start to flow from the first open house – which they did. With the help of Tammy, I was able to take my time (without taking too long and missing out) to line up all my ducks, fact-check and do the sums before putting in an offer. Once my offer was in, the communication was prompt and I never sat there twiddling my thumbs wondering what was going on. Once the contract was signed, Tammy kept me informed every step of the way and always made a point of touching base to see how I was going with my end of the process, right up to and even after settlement. Tammy definitely made me feel as though she was also working for me and wanted to make sure I was able to achieve my dream and secure the perfect home Id been hoping to buy!
