Steve was engaged as agent for my father-in-law, who was moving to a retirement village. The family home was built over 50 years ago and, while full of memories, was no longer suitable and beyond his attempts to maintain. My wife and I needed to not only sell the home but also sort through and deal with all the accumulated household items, and move my father-in-law to his new home. From the get-go Steve was professional and courteous. He set out the sales strategy clearly based on a thorough market assessment, planned and undertook the multitude of tasks needed to get a great result and kept us fully informed throughout. This took a lot of stress away from us and this meant we could focus on what mattered without distractions or having to deal with additional problems. Steve was able to work out a great outcome and the home is now going to a young couple who want to live -in and renovate the property. My father-in-law can now pay the entry fee for his retirement villa and still have a sizeable surplus with which to enjoy life without the worry of keeping the house going. Steve was very sensitive to my father-in-law's circumstances and communicated with him in an honest and respectful manner which helped him overcome his initial fears and concerns that he held. As the process unfolded we all worked to a timeframe and towards various stages. Interest in the house came from several different sources and ultimately we were able to accept an offer before embarking on some improvements that were earmarked to be done to improve the property ahead of listing. Steve deftly managed the negotiations and we were very happy with the price, the quickly executed exchange of contracts, and the short settlement period. We have no hesitation in recommending Steve.
