I’m really glad Gillian was the agent who sold me my first home. She was trustworthy, communicative, kind, and helpful. Gillian understood that I was nervous and unsure, and like to have a lot of information to help me understand the process and make decisions, and she adapted her style to suit me. She took the time to explain every part of the process, and answered all my questions. She also made sure everything was done properly - for example, a friend of mine who works in property management warned me that the selling agent might try to skip the pre-settlement inspection, but Gillian had already scheduled this with me, there was no suggestion it might be skipped! She was also very easy to communicate with throughout the whole process, and very responsive to emails, texts and phone calls. I also appreciated that she engaged with my mum and dad, who were helping me, but never deferred to them - she knew it was my decision to make.
