This was a unique sale. I was acting on behalf of my eldey aunty who was hospitalised. We needed to sell her unit and engaged Tristan to complete the sale. He said and did all the right things at the start and during the sale. Even calling my Aunty in her hospital bed. The only express direction from my Aunty was that there was to be no for sale sign as she wanted the sale kept quite. Tristan acknowledged this during the sale. We live a long distance from the unit and we placed alot of trust in Tristan to comply to my Auntys direction. After the sale my Aunty was being harassed by neighbours asking about the sale and we couldnt work out why. After the unit was sold I was required to meet someone onsite and much to our dissapointment there was a sign placed on the property to inform it had been sold. When we asked Tristan why he did this he said " he didnt think it would matter after the sale." Why would we want a sign up after the property was sold letting people know of the sale if we didnt want a sign up to tell them it was up for sale. Tristan betrayed our trust and as the director made a conscious decison to ignore our request to benefit his own personal profile along with the company . This was done without showing any regard or respect for my Auntys wishes.
