We were very impressed by the agents' knowledge of the local market in Portland and the property itself. Being unfamiliar with Portland, we had numerous questions about the area. Despite being located in NSW and unable to immediately see the property, the honest and informed information provided by the agents at Seaview Real Estate greatly increased our confidence and played a major role in our decision to purchase the house. The Seaview team is very passionate about their job and Portland. They went out of their way to accommodate us and took the time to understand our needs as buyers. For example, Allan made himself available for us to inspect the property even during the Easter break. When we drove over to see the property, the agents were always happy to accommodate us, show us around, and answer our questions. Allan went above and beyond, even showing us the nearest beach and shops from the property. Another key aspect of the stress-free process was the professional and friendly communication style that the agents used. The team found the right balance with communication; we didn't feel overwhelmed by the process, yet we were kept well-informed with regular updates. They also greatly assisted with negotiations between us and the vendors, ensuring everyone was satisfied. The team was quick to respond to any questions, and we felt very supported throughout the entire process. We are from out of town and didn't meet Allan face to face at all. We found he was pleasant on the phone and kept us up to date with what was happening and was quick to return phone calls. His suggested value of the property was fair and reasonable to us as sellers and buyers must have thought so too as we had 2 buyers make an offer in the first week and we excepted one of them
