27 Park Road Marrickville 2204 12 April 2016 People say selling a house that has been the family home of 35 years can be a stressful time. In placing our house on the market we had the added stress of an unforeseen and serious decline in my wife’s health to deal with. Our daughters were very helpful in seeing us through this time and it is thanks to them that we met Filippo. Our younger daughter has been involved in several real estate transactions of her own and has a network of friends in similar situations. She supplied us with a short list of recomended real estate agents. Filippo’s name headed this list and she had lined up a time for us to meet and have a chat. Right off the bat Filippo and his assistant, Tiziana, impressed us as sincere, friendly and completely professional; showing a genuine understanding of our needs. Filippo also showed a real first hand knowledge of the area. After interviewing several others on our list we confidently awarded the sale to Filippo. In giving advice on all aspects of the sale Filippo was patient, thorough, and always at pains to explain his reasoning to us. Open house sessions were handled smoothly and punctually. Following each session he would give us a rundown on those who had attended, and the direction in which proceedings were moving. This was of particular benefit to us, as we always felt we were seeing the bigger picture on our journey to auction. As things turned out we never made it to auction; a couple, known to Filippo, made a very generous pre-auction offer which was accepted by us upon Filippo’s advice. I selected Filippo from Rate My Agent.......when I first contacted him he was extremely easy to talk to and instantly made me feel at ease....He came to see my Husband and myself that afternoon and from then on everything progressed as planned. I was not the easiest client Filippo has had I can assure you of that, but, he understood my concerns and was always there to calm my nerves!!!!! He was honest and upfront at all times.......our house sold for the amount he first told us after inspecting the house AND before auction. I would recommend Filippo to anyone!!!
