I'm a first time renter, so I may be ignorant in some of the practices of this industry. However, my experience so far has been less than desirable. Going on 10 months there are numerous fixes that are still outstanding on the house that I am currently occupying. Communications are swift if moneys are outstanding, but there is next to none regarding any other matters which is quite frustrating. During all routine inspections there have been promises of follow up to fix these issues but never any follow through or even a single email/text to apologise for any delay. Fixes that have been required since before signing the lease... We have had a chance of property manager with no communication and the recent email regarding lease renewal is blunt to say the least. I believe this is quite poor but then again may be a standard practice which I'm sure I'll be educated on shortly. I can appreciate that property managers are busy and whatnot but even a little more follow up will fill renters with a little more confidence.
