This was our second time as purchasers that we encountered Hudson McHugh. Both times we found them unresponsive to the point that they seem to employ ghosting as a sales technique. This time I would suggest it backfired on them. If I'd been the vendor I'd be pretty annoyed that they weren't following up potential buyers thoroughly. We were successful in securing our purchase post auction at which point the junior sales rep took over liaison with us. He did not seem at all on top of things and more than once we had to prompt him to supply documents required by our solicitor. Neither did either of them have the courtesy to reach out in any shape or form once the contracts were exchanged despite the fact we had to deal with a burst pipe and substantial damage whilst we were living in the property under licence before settlement. We finally settled last week and did not even receive a text from them acknowledging the fact. When we sell, it will not be with them.
