We were selling our property in a buyer's market with prices falling and forecast to fall further. We interviewed a number of agents and chose Matt as he made use feel comfortable from the first meeting where he outlined and explained a strategy that made sense to us. Throughout the campaign we found Matt to be engaged, honest, trustworthy, respectful and a highly effective communicator, never pushy. He would call to keep us informed whenever there was new information or just to check in and provide an update. Ray white delivered an effective marketing strategy and campaign that saw our property attract big numbers through the open houses. Matt was also able to attract potential buyers from out of the area due to Ray White's reach across the entire Shire. We felt this was an advantage over local agents. We sold at auction at a time when clearance rates were in the low 50's. We both thought the result achieved was good given the market conditions. Selling a home is stressful at any time and having an agent you feel comfortable with is really important. Overall we feel satisfied with the process and would not hesitate to recommend Matt and his team to get the job done.

This was my first experience selling a home and my expectations were probably quite high. Gavin allowed me to select the selling price which may have been too high in the current climate. Prospective buyers attended the open home and it was evident from these opinions that my price expectations would not be achieved. Gavin's view of the backyard area was quite credible, however I felt that the home and its location compared more favourably with others in the area. His assistants could have been a little more security conscious about the home but I addressed this issue with Gavin and this was corrected.
