Nick was a great agent to work with as a vendor. He really puts the customer first, made time to answer our questions and get on calls at any time, always being very friendly and professional. We really appreciated his wealth of knowledge and experience in the local property market. The whole experience from initial consultation, to singing up, to listing and advertising, help with renovations, and getting us the best offer was pretty seamless. There was one minor hiccup with the contracted renovations due to a miscommunication but Nick went above and beyond to take ownership and rectified the issue immediately even taking less commission to bear the cost himself. My husband and I were hopeful first home buyers back in 2016 when we first encountered Nick at a house inspection in Derrimut. We ran into him a few times over multiple inspections and both commented to each other how we loved the agent's chill attitude and jokes - and that he didn't give off that vibe of 'slimy, desperate Estate Agent'. We just so happened to buy our very first home from that very agent, Nick Makroglou. The process was smooth, and we always felt that Nick was being open and transparent with us. I even said to my husband at the time "if we ever sell this place, we gotta use this guy!"" Over the years Nick kept in touch with frequent property and area reports that showed great growth in the Derrimut area and I always appreciated the detailed knowledge that he shared with us. Fast forward nearly a decade: the time came to sell! Who else to call but Nick!? Nick handled EVERYTHING for us. He organised all the upgrades to the property which had experienced some wear and tear from our wonderful small family and some young tenants. When I suggested a replacement of the carpet Nick challenged that we should instead add floorboards and then rattled off a ton of information why this would be appropriate for the market - from that point on I thought this is all very boring and let Nick take the wheel.
