I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this disaster of an experience. Working with this Bombay real estate agent, Rohan Khanna, was the worst decision. From the start, Rohan seemed friendly and “helpful,” but it quickly became clear that honesty was not part of their business model. Issues that were supposedly “minor” or “will be fixed” turned into major, expensive problems the moment we moved in. When confronted, the agent suddenly had vague answers, and excuses which is hard to believe given how confidently they made those claims during the sale. We did the building & Pest inspection report before the auction, and sent it to him. We told him that we would only come to the auction if the owner was happy to fix all the minor/major issues before settlement. He called us and told us that the owner is a very nice man and agreed to fix all the issues. Every time I email or text him for confirmation, he just calls me and discusses it verbally to ensure it's alright and that it gets done before settlement. He never gives us anything in writing, not even a text message. He knew what he was doing. All of that turned out to be misleading at best, and outright lies at worst. The owner was also a complete AAhole who took the money and gave us the dirty house on settlement with many broken appliances, and the agent told us in "Auction, you have to accept as it is". This agent didn't do anything for us except lie all the time. You expect transparency, professionalism, and integrity. Instead, we got misinformation, half-truths, and a very expensive lesson. We are not sure how transparent their Auction process was. They have someone of their own people over the phone bidding during the auction to increase the price. When I stopped bidding during the auction and told them I am walking away, then suddenly that Lady over phone lost the connection and stopped bidding or increasing the price too. Be very vigilant & careful with them during the auction.
