Terrible service - Very disappointing
Terrible service right from viewing the house - The agent was so concerned about his image and saying the right thing. We viewed the house on the first viewing, submitted our application immediately & then Highland went on to view the house 4 more time after that - Basically saying our application was not good enough. I phoned Highland to find out what was happening with our application and could not get past the lady at the front reception. She said she would get someone to return my call, which nobody at highland did. I manage to get hold of someone with more authority at highland, who looked at our application and said there was nothing wrong with it. Needless to say we secured the property. When we picked up the keys and went to view the property it was so disgustingly dirty and we had the movers booked for the next day. We managed to get someone in to help clean the morning of the move, who only manage to get so much cleaning done. It has been a week since we have been in the house and we are still living out of boxes as we cannot unpack as it is just so dirty. The lights in the kitchen and living area do not work. We are having to cook with the use of a lamp. The lights in the study do not work and we are currently working from home. The internet connection does not work. We have brought this all up with Highland and there has just been NO urgency to get it sorted out. It is unacceptable and very disappointing, especially when we are paying $900 a week. We had previously been with McGarth , who were absolutely outstanding. But I have nothing good to say about the customer service we have received from Highland from the very beginning.
