We listed our property with Barker Real Estate late on a Friday afternoon thinking that as we lived in the country it would take time to sell. The very next day we had a call from Nicky with a potential buyer that wanted to inspect the property the next day, I was stressed as we hadn't even had time to prepare the house for the photo shoot that was planned for early the next week. Upon Nicky talking to me advising that the house was respectable enough to be able to hold this open I agreed. Before our eyes we had a signed contract on out property within 48 hours of listing! (with a 4 week settlement) Which then left us in more of a state, as we had not expected to sell so quickly and we had not found a new property to buy (After looking for 2 months) Nicky then suggested that we look at a property that she had only just listed the week prior. She then found time out of hours to be able to arrange an inspection on this property, so that we were able to have a look through. We had finally found the property we were looking for so signed a contract on this one! During this very stressful time of selling and buying Nicky had been extremely accommodating with arranging out of hours visits, and also along they way being such a great help and support through this journey. I will say that if you want a down to earth real estate agent that is will to go the extra mile then Nicky Barker, and her team are the one. She is honest down to earth and will not rip you off.
