Given the circumstances that we found ourselves in, being that my father had only recently passed away, we found Barry Plant Real Estate Glen Waverley to be most supportive of our needs at that time. Tony provided us with a well thought out and considered selling program. He was always available to answer any questions no matter the time of day, he returned calls promptly, checked in with us on a regular basis, and updated us at the beginning of each week in regards to the planned inspections for the week. He was honest in his comments and thoughts regarding feedback from people who attended the inspections. He was helpful in advising how to prepare the house for inspection and sale. Prior to the auction day, the pre-auction meeting was most helpful in understanding what would happen on the day and managing our expectations. We were never made to feel that our target sale price was unrealistic and Tony helped us to understand the auction and post-auction (if required) process. On the day Tony ran the auction professionally and competently. It was clear Tony had created a good relationship with the bidders and always provided us with an opportunity to consider questions raised by interested parties. With a lot of other things we had to deal with at the time, Tony showed us respect, empathy, and an understanding of how difficult the situation of selling the house was for us.
