My property was vacant for 8 weeks due to the high number of similar properties on the market. I believe that if I had listened to the recommendation to reduce the rental asking price then my property most likely would not have been vacant for more than 4 weeks. New tenants have signed a one year lease and I am very happy with the communication from Biggin and Scott. Although many staff were on leave over the Christmas/New Year period, I still had email notification through this time.

I was quite disappointed that Biggin & Scott Richmond recommended a large reduction in rental which the market determined was unwarranted. It was just as well that I rejected that recommendation and while there was ultimately a small reduction in rent it was not as large as recommended by B&S. I was also disappointed with the lack of communication through the letting process and even now I have not received any written communication about the commencement of the new tenancy.
