The house sold pre auction for a bit less than the price expectation we were given and were hoping for which was probably due to the current market. There could have been a bit more correspondence after each open home so we could gauge interest and things people liked or didn't like about the property but overall the agent was good.

We have recently sold our property through Sean Rogers at Blackshaw Real estate. Sean is open, honest, transparent and a specialist in his field. When looking for an agent in Canberra we found him to be the most realistic with many others indicating that they could sell the property for significantly more than it was worth in the hope that they would have the listing. He has a very good understanding of the market - and importantly - what buyers and sellers are looking for and how they want to buy and sell. We live interstate and were looking for a seamless package of selling our property remotely. We needed some minor work done prior to the property getting onto the market and Sean was able to be the coordination point for it all. I would not hesitate to strongly recommend Sean to anyone.

I've known Sean for a long time. He was amazing with us through the sale process and well before. We asked Sean to come through close to 9 months ago while we were weighing up the proposed cost of renovations and the impact that would have on sale prices. Sean was amazing, came to us with two sets of valuation reports and data, as well as a valuation letter for dealing with the bank. When we ultimately decided to sell, Sean was our first call, and again came with updated valuation and reporting. He was great with scheduling, information, expectation management and buyer engagement and assisted us in getting to our acceptable sale price. Ontop of all that, Sean is a great supporter of the community and is sponsor and supporter the Weston Creek Molonglo Cricket Club - amazing to see someone working so hard and also giving back.
