•Nigel was helpful in my journey of buying a home in the early days. I think he could have done better to help first home buyers. There was no electricity during pre settlement inspection. When asked if there was anything we should be aware of. The tenant and Nigel said there were no issues . This was clearly untrue as when we moved in, the bedroom walls were found to have massive hollow patches which appeared to be concealed which was not accessible to the building inspector due to existing furnitures. When asked about the patches on the internal wall, he didnot seem very cooperative. The house was meant to be bond cleaned but cleaning had left a lot of places. For example hairs on the walls, pee stains on the bathroom, dirty sinks.
Nigel decided to do an open house for me despite an offer that I was already prepared to accept. His experience led to a second offer about $30k higher than I would have accepted. Great insight into the market! Nigel helped with all the paperwork and an annoying counter-offer from the buyer. He minimised all the effort on my side which I appreciated so much because I had to do all this remotely fromm outside Australia. Nigel is the best real estate agent I have ever dealt with. I highly recommend him to everyone.
