I was very pleased how Boris maintained communications with me and with the description he put together for advertising purposes. Boris has a very good knowledge of this building and its precinct. He has excellent memory of people and he was very good at handling people inspecting the property. Most importantly he was excellent in dealing with the people who eventually bought my property, he created serious interest in buying from casual 'lookers'. I was disappointed in the quality of the work of his photographer because I felt the initial impact to get prospective buyers through the door from the photographs of mostly furniture instead of the distant views and the precinct lifestyle was seriously disappointing. I think that I was given unrealistic expectations regarding price. I believe that the final negotiated price was market value. In a difficult market, such as I experienced, an unrealistic listing price can put serious buyers off. When a price had been agreed but before the contracts were exchanged (which eventually took 6 weeks) Boris effectively took the property off the market by placing an 'Under Offer' notice on his website. This denied me access to any new interested parties and removed any negotiating strength I had. Notwithstanding these comments I enjoyed dealing with Boris who did not try to gloss over disappointing news or overstate good news and he (mostly) always stayed in touch. He is a good bloke who does not present as a 'spiv' so common in this industry.
