Mark was very helpful during the process of purchasing my property. Upon my first visit to the property he gave advice about expected price range. When asking for a copy of the contract and arranging building inspections the response was very quick. All queries were answered knowledgeably. It was my intention to write to Buxton to inform them formally of our experience with Chris McAteer. Chris was someone I knew of growing up but only to greet hello at a pub or social event. From the offset he has always presented as a lovely, genuine person. He had recently sold a friends home and I passed him at the gym and asked if he would be interested in selling our family home. In an otherwise voracious society and a somewhat sensitive time for us as a family, he invested his time with us and approached all matters with the utmost professionalism. Keep in mind our property was not worth a fortune but it was our family home and important to us. In the realty industry, it must be difficult to find a balance where neither party feels ripped off or short handed. Chris seemed to care about both the seller and buyer in a very natural and humbled way. We sold our house within days of it being first publisised.
