Our experience with Buxtons Box Hill could not have been better. At the initial consultation we were impressed with both Jim and Calvin. They obviously new the market, gave good advice regarding selling and most of all inspired confidence in their ability to handle the sale. As a result we didn't consult with any other agents. They kept us informed throughout the marketing process and did exactly what they said they would do when they said the would do it. Calvin did an excellent job as auctioneer on the day achieving a selling price probably a bit above what we thought we might achieve in the current market. Inside the house was not the best place to see him perform but family members who were in the crowd thought that he left no stone unturned in trying to do the best for us. One family member who has attended several auctions recently in the hope of buying a house said that he was the best auctioneer he had seen in action. On the day, as well as the director and auctioneer, there were many other enthusiastic Buxton staff doing their job. All in all a happy experience made so largely by the efficiency of the Buxton Box Hill team

Calvin took the time to connect with us and to build an open and honest relationship with him. While he can present as a quite serious and determined person, he has a great sense of humour which he was able to use to his advantage during the auction.
