•We listed our property with another agent prior to Katrina Obrien from Buxton. This agent had coerced us into signing up for the most exclusive marketing schedule; inclusive of illuminated boards, glossy brochures, mail drops and an ongoing advert in his agency window. Regardless of the expensive campaign that we signed up for, we quickly realized that the best advertising is the agent themselves as the property had countless people through the door and over an extended campaign of 5 weeks, we did not even secure 1 offer - even a ridiculous offer that we could have worked with. The story writes itself and the property was passed in with a vendor bid only. After some transparent discussions with Katrina and us virtually deciding to take it off the market, we took the plunge and listed our property with her, she was very compassionate towards our previous situation and listed the property without display furniture or any glossy brochures. Given our situation and Christmas looming we took this option and within 4 days of being advertised low and behold - we had an offer. It definitely highlights that Katrina and her assistant Caitlin are a power house team, who are dedicated, understand the market, listen to their vendors and more importantly understand how to match buyers with properties. Katrina has a database of active buyers who she liaises with regularly and her passion about real estate allows her to directly engage with buyers to gain a real understanding of their needs and intentions so that she can assist her vendors in the best way forward possible. If we ever had to list another property again there is no doubt in our minds that Katrina and Caitlin are the only combination we would choose.
