Whilst Brian worked for the seller and I was the buyer, he was always helpful going above and beyond any request I made. He also helped to sort out a last minute issue between buyer and seller so settlement could proceed. My only feedback for the agency as a whole would be to ensure settlement procedures are upheld prior to settlement so that the buyer is moving into a house in reasonable condition ie. lawns, gardening and weeding should be done (I’ve NEVER seen it not be a part of an exit clean before). Cleaning of the property was not done/sufficient and although Brian worked this out between seller and I (Brian did my solicitors job), this should not have been an issue and I’m now cleaning the house. A half cash payment was negotiated but shouldn’t have been the case and was a significant waste of everyone’s time. I suggest the above feedback is considered and actioned as an agency and implemented into its settlement procedures immediately. That being said, I found Brian to be helpful, professional and available at all times and even willing to visit the house pre-settlement to measure fridge spaces, lounge etc for me.

It was near Xmas, the market was slow and we were away for eight weeks. This was a time of great stress for us and we were grateful that Brian kept us informed of buyer interest every week-end.
