Alvin helped us feel confident with our purchase through providing good market and area insight and asking us about what we were looking for to make sure it was a match and then when we had horrendous trouble with banks he went out to bat for us as he knew what it meant to us. He is wonderful to communicate with and both my solicitor and broker have had wonderful feedback about how it is nice to deal with such a lovely agent. Dealing with Tony was like a breath of fresh air. Having been searching for properties for many years, and having dealt with many real estate agents (too many..), it was nice to finally meet Tony and see a different side to the industry that I had come to know. Tony was always honest and upfront with us, and without a doubt was the glue that held the deal together. We had difficult vendors to say the least, and it was Tony's exceptional hard work that meant that we could finally come to a resolution and purchase the property. Most other agents would not have bothered and put in the effort that Tony did, and so we are very grateful for his time and patience. He was fair to both parties and did what agents should do - bring the two parties together and get a deal done, even if they seemingly have wildly different expectations of what is fair and reasonable. I was very happy with the sale price it was above what we expected Tony has a good knowledge of the local property market and didn’t try to talk us down he had a good customer base and only introduced us to serious buyers he never try’s to pressure you and was always prompt and on time for appointments Tony has a kind and patient nature and works well with both the buyers and sellers we have bought and sold many homes over the years and and dealt with many different agents Tony of select real estate is by far the best agent we have ever dealt with he sold our property in good time for above what we expected and was very helpful with advise leading up to settlement and always friendly and available I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him or to use him again Bill Pinto

Tony Gilmour, unlike other agents, recognised the extent that Marion and I went to to build our home including the extensive Infrastructure required on a rural property. He valued our property based on the facts not a desire to get a quick sale. He never once suggested that we lower the price to achieve a sale.
