The obvious choice when selling our property was to go with a real estate company, that looked like it had all the bells and top notch branding to boot. However, after the particular franchise sold the neighbours property with what appeared to be lacking in attention to detail and management ( with a poor sale price), we re-thought the plan. The result was to angle our sale to an agent whom was stand alone without the overheads or set parameters to what they would provide for their commission, and it paid off. Mark went well above what any other estate agent would have provided. He managed the process all the way, not only with the marketing campaign but all the extras such as trades, styling and property access for such. He was there for additional private openings, that he would arrange autonomously and without fuss. In fact, it was that extra mile that scored a great result on the day. He not only facilitated in the sale above reserve in a wobbly market, but smashed the sale price compared to the neighbouring sale. In addition, the property sold to a buyer whom he had opened especially for. Without that viewing, it may have been a different outcome. I fully recommend Mark and I would sell with him over any agent, even if they offered a lower commission. The .5% would be negligible compared to the service and results Mark provides.
