If all estate agents were as attentive and conscientious as Greer Allen, they would be regarded as saviours or angles. Months before listing with Clearwater real estate, Greer was aware of my intention to sell. Never pressuring me, she maintained a casual contact during this time of indecision. Ultimately this generated a supportive and trusting relationship, together with an openness to frankly discuss the real estate market and my selling options. Greer provided extensive details of the marketing strategy used by Clearwater. She also recommended and organised a professional photographer who made the place look fantastic without over embellishment. The aerial shots brilliantly displayed the house in its rural setting. I was very happy to go along with Greer's advise and the presentation of the property demonstrated the contemporary and professional standards of Clearwater real estate. Within threes days of the property appearing on the Clearwater and countless other web pages, Greer was calling me with offers. Being only listed for three days I wasn't prepared. Not prepared firstly because I couldn't believe things were happening so quickly and secondly, unprepared to accept 'offers' so soon. Greer conveyed this to the prospective buyers with the result that on the afternoon of the third day since being listed, without even an inspection, Greer sold my house for the original asking price, which was at the high end of its market value. Since that day Greer has maintained communication with myself and the purchaser, ironing out a few issues with the conveyancing and thankfully keeping me somewhat sheltered from the process, for which I am most appreciative. If it wasn't for Greer, I probably would have pulled out of this sale with the difficult vendors. She is kind and thoughtful and worked hard to achieve for her clients, even though they did not seem to appreciate this (some people!). Gary worked hard in a difficult market to find the right buyer for my land. Although the sale took a number of years, his advice was always astute and accurate.
