Deeply disappointing - strongly recommend you look elsewhere

My experience with this agent was frustrating and disheartening. In my view, their conduct fell far short of what any seller should expect when entrusting someone with the sale of their home. A key feature of the property was the boat mooring, and a prospective buyer raised questions about it on four separate occasions. Each time, the queries went unanswered by the agent, and it ultimately fell to myself, the owner to provide the information. In my opinion, this reflects poor management of the listing and a disappointing lack of professionalism. After multiple inspections, I discovered that lights and bathroom extraction fans had been left running in a vacant property. While this may seem minor, I was genuinely concerned about the lack of care and attention to detail—especially given the potential risks associated with electrical appliances being left on unnecessarily. Worse still, after the final inspection, the agent left the lockbox unsecured, with the property unattended for five days before the owner returned and discovered it. To me, this speaks to a concerning level of carelessness. To add to the frustration, the deposit funds were not transferred until several hours after settlement, causing the vendor to have to delay settlement on their next property, an avoidable situation that resulted in additional stress and expense. Communication was inconsistent, follow-up was lacking, and the overall handling of the sale did not inspire confidence. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this agency and would encourage others to seek out a representative who will treat both the property and the process with the diligence and professionalism it deserves.
