I have know Chris for approximately 15 years, firstly as a tenant and then as a potential buyer. In 2001 I rented property through Cameron Real Estate (CRE), as Cream Residential was then known, and in 2011 I purchased an investment property through CRE. The time came in late 2017 when I was in a position to sell my investment property. I had no hesitation in solely engaging Chris to advertise, market and sell this property. As a member of the Board of the Real Estate Institute, and having been involved in the real estate industry in Canberra for a considerable period of time through his family business, Chris has a remarkable and second to none knowledge of the local real estate market. Unsurprisingly my property was sold in a very short period of time for the ultimate price in the current market. Chris not only has a remarkable instinct regarding the local market, he is professional and extremely personable. We found Chris to be a very genuine person. At our first meeting he carefully and professionally walked us through the sale process explaining all costs and marketing strategies. Throughout the sale, he was able to advise us on how to present the home, he kept in regular contact with us, whether there was prospective buyers or not. He carefully planned all open houses and individual visitations, keeping us completely informed as to what was happening. His manner with prospective clients was very professional as well. We found that Chris was very knowledgeable about the current market. He listened carefully to both vendor and purchaser and acted in the best interests of both us and the purchaser. He took the stress completely out of the process for us. His calmness and unflustered demeanour was very reassuring. The brochures and other aspects of the marketing were absolutely superb. It reflected his genuineness about presenting the home in the way we thought it should be presented. Our home was fairly unique in design, and in so many ways we felt that he understood the quality aspects of the home and was able to communicate that to others. Chris was great to work with and spot on with his suggestions for the stylists and the auction reserve. Any suggestions made by Chris always had sound local knowledge behind them and at all times I was comfortable and informed of the way things were going leading up to the auction.
