When Jane said she had a buyer, she really had a buyer. The sold sticker was up before we even managed to get photos. It was a quick stress free transaction and I appreciated the effort the girls went to in order to get things done. There was no real negotiation either on the contract or sale of our house. A buyer was found in the first week through Jane's internet advertisement. Both Jane and the buyer of our house were very patient in waiting for us to find somewhere we wanted to buy (even though we were on three agencies lists to inform us of new properties coming on to the market), for this we were very grateful to both. All properties shown were too small, of a lower price and needed a lot of work to be carried out (even a suggestion that we could knock a wall out!!!). Having to bring them up to a satisfactory standard would have taken a lot of time, and would have used up any profit made and in some case even more money. The failing in communication was getting through to all agents that we wanted to downsize (not too much) but not downgrade and we were willing to pay extra for what we wanted. After a lot of canvassing, searching and negotiating, Jane eventually found us the perfect house for us, right size and no renovation work to be done.
