David Murphy sold my two-bedroom apartment in November 2017. The apartment had been my home for 13 years but I needed to sell it to buy a place on the South Coast with my partner. The timing wasn't ideal - being so close to Christmas and it would have been very risky to try to sell it after the New Year given I had to settle on my new property in early March. I also had a tenant living in there so I had to rely on the tenant to present the apartment well. David kept me up to date along the way. He was great at explaining the situation, the number of people who had inspected the apartment, which ones were the most likely purchasers and their circumstances and opinion of the property. He also did a great job with negotiating with the eventual buyers. I would say that he did a great job in a market that was starting to soften and in the run up to Christmas. Nothing was too much trouble for David and Joann.

David has a strong reputation because he "tells it like it is", which isn't always the case in real estate but is definitely in the interests of a genuine vendor. He was on annual leave during the negotiation phase but was helpful prior to that in regards to buyer strategy in a non-auction campaign.
