We really relied on Luke for a transparent and open process. Unfortunately we don’t feel we got that. We felt played by the narrative that we were given, which turned out to be quite distant from reality. In fairness, there’s a chance he didn’t know, but based on what we’ve heard from neighbours in the area that seems pretty unlikely. Also in fairness, it was silly of us to place our trust in the agent for the sellers - and I’ve got no doubt he’s an excellent agent on behalf of sellers. Buyer beware, make your own enquiries, etc., all the usual stuff - but don’t be as trusting as we were.
