Selecting the right agent was very important to me. After meeting with nearly 15 agents around Newcastle, what differentiated Scott from the rest was his down-to-earth and friendly approach. He was always well prepared and happy to answer my questions, and his advice during the whole process was always appropriate, particularly with respect to preparing the property and timing the sale. His experience in the field of Architecture also allowed him to offer more insight into the property's potential. He was responsive to all forms of communication and he always provided me with updates along the way. These attributes were not only important to me as the vendor, but were also qualities that I wanted my agent to demonstrate to the existing tenants and to any potential buyers. Compared to other agents we have interacted with, Scott was straight up, what you see is what you get, which is hard to find, especially in the current property market. Communication was open and prompt - other agents had all the bells and whistles but gave us misleading information or couldn’t even return our calls. The whole process felt genuine, which is what we were looking for. Scott also has a background in architecture and we appreciated this perspective.

With past experience of selling only single properties the prospect of selling a subdivision even though it was only a small one with 5 Lots was trepadating. With his easy manner and cool disposition Scott made the exercise a realatively stress free experience. Scott's positive attitude and air of confidence to smooth out any problems encountered made the yourney a much more satisfying one than what I was expecting.
