•The short story: Under contract on Day 1 (in a market with average days-on-market of upwards of 3 months+). The long story: I just sold my property in Annandale through Glenda and have been very happy with her service. She knows Annandale like the back of her hand. And also is able to relate to people very well and understand the psychology and background of her sellers and buyers. What helped me sell the property wasn't just her sales skills that are the basic requirements of a good agent, but she also helped me through the negotiation process with her understanding of my buyers and their context and situation. Why did I choose her? I was moving interstate so I needed my property sold. I knew the state of the Townsville market at the time, and so I needed someone who knew the market in Annandale well to move my house off the market ASAP. After calling about 15 agents and interviewing 5, it came down to the agent who had the numbers to prove their claims, and for Annandale that's Glenda, hands down. I'm very much into statistics and maths, so I wanted an agent who had the top number of sales in the area with the top average sale price (as opposed to someone who had thousands of listings but few sold or someone who has the top average sale price but only sold one property). The other agents I interviewed were skilled and professional also, but simply didn't have the numbers to match Glenda. Importantly, she is definitely not into over-promising or over-quoting and making you pay thousands in unnecessary marketing costs just to get you committed into signing a 90-day exclusive appointment. She calls a spade a spade. She quoted me what she thought she could realistically get for the property and advised me on what renovations and upgrades I needed to do in order to get good return on investment. In the end, she delivered a sale price within her quoted range and that a testament to her honesty and her experience in this area.
