I have considered selling my house a few times over the last few years, and to that end I have had several agents come and look. As my house is down the bottom of a driveway, it presented challenges. The outlook down here is fantastic, but Jane at Garwoods real estate agents was the only one who immediately saw what was needed and how to sell the vision and story of living here. Jane's knowledge of the market, strategies and style is unsurpassed. I have sold a few places in Sydney over the years, but i have never seen an agent get a property ready for market to the degree, speed and scale of what Jane was able to do. I think she has some kind of super human powers as a project manager, to juggle all that was done. The house transformation that occurred in just 3 weeks was simply phenomenal. Jane handled the many queries, buyers and a few last minute hurdles with professionalism, and always communicated progress and updates with me. In the end 19 contracts went out and the interest was so high that the auction was brought forward. An amazing result was achieved with the final price well over my reserve. I doubt this result would have be reached without Jane's vision, drive and project management skills. The team behind the scenes was just as impressive, with her son James Garwood by her side, and a whole a list of 'can do' tradies, legal and administrative personnel. I admire & appreciate their professionalism and expertise. James and Jane’s knowledge of the local market is excellent, as is their communication, delivered in a succinct and confident manner, while responding appropriately and with care to the emotional upheaval that can sometimes occur in real estate transactions, and in my case did, unexpectedly. Negotiations were carried out with skill and confidence. I never had to wonder what was happening. Jane and James were in constant contact and articulated each situation clearly. I was overseas during part of the marketing campaign in a remote area and they managed the process extremely well which helped put my mind at ease. The whole Garwood team is efficient and a pleasure to deal with. I have experienced several real estate transactions during my life and can honestly say this is the best experience I have had. I would not hesitate to recommend them. I wish them every success – which they deserve!
